The 14-day trial period (demo tenant)

How to get a 14-day trial access, what distinguishes it from a paid tenant, and what happens after it expires.

In the system, the 14-day trial period is called "demo" — this refers to a fully functional tenant with time-limited, free access. Activation does not happen automatically via the public request form but is done by Zentor.

Step by step

  1. Request accessSubmit a request via the public "Request access" form on the Zentor website. This request does not yet create a tenant — it is reviewed by Zentor.
  2. Wait for activationZentor activates your 14-day trial access. The period starts from that point.
  3. Use the trial periodDuring the 14 days you use a fully functional tenant for free — however with mandatory Zentor branding (unlike paid packages) and without a fixed conversation limit.
  4. Receive a reminder48 hours before expiry you automatically receive a reminder email.
  5. Switch to a paid packageSwitching to a paid package is not currently available as a standalone self-service function in the dashboard — contact Zentor in good time before expiry.

Expected result

You test the platform fully for 14 days; you receive a reminder well before it expires.

Common error cases

After submitting the access request form, I still cannot log in.

Cause: The form does not yet create a tenant — activation is done manually by Zentor.

Resolution: Wait for the activation confirmation from Zentor.

After the 14 days expire, my chat widget stops working.

Cause: After expiry, access is automatically blocked — your tenant and your data remain intact, nothing is deleted.

Resolution: Contact Zentor to switch to a paid package and re-enable access.

I want to upgrade from the trial to a paid package myself in the dashboard but cannot find a function for it.

Cause: A self-service upgrade from the trial period is not currently available as a dashboard function.

Resolution: Contact Zentor to switch to a paid package.
